During her airport management career, Mary Rose Loney has:
1. Led Airport Master Plans and implemented major capital development programs at large and medium hub airports in the U.S. including:
Chicago, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, San Jose, CA and Albuquerque;
    * New & expanded terminals
      (ABQ, ORD, MDW, PHL, LAS, SJC)
    * New runways & airfield expansions/reconfigurations
      (ORD, PHL, SJC)
    * New parking facilities & roadways (ABQ, MDW, SJC)
2. Developed and managed multi-million dollar airport operating and capital budgets including comprehensive cost reduction and efficiency initiatives (ORD, MDW, DFW, PHL).
3. Launched major airport food and retail programs (ORD, MDW, PHL) with innovative product appeal and market pricing.
4. Led comprehensive campaigns to improve air service and enhance competition (ORD, MDW, PHL, SJC, LAS) including
      * Aggressively pursued new international air routes and frequencies
      * Lobbied for open skies agreements and liberalized slot allocations
      * Served as member of U.S. delegation on U.S.-U.K. air service negotiations
      * Testifed before U.S. Congress and European Commission
      * Organized business community support for new expanded air service in Chicago and
        Philadelphia
5. Established comprehensive noise compatibility and community relations programs as well as organized Airport Advisory Boards with local elected officials and business leaders.
6. Developed and implemented major customer enhancement programs focused on improving terminal building and ground transportation services as well as making airports more convenient and friendly for users.
7. Led trail blazing airport operating programs that have served as models for the aviation industry including:
      * Launched "HeartSave" the first public access program in the U.S. for automatic defibrillators at
        ORD & MDW Airports; in its first year of operation, the program has saved 9 lives.
      * Led local and national efforts to address air traffic delays.
      * Successfully fought for Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) funded improvements to enhance         pre-board security screening services at ORD & MDW.
      * Created consolidated public safety centers for airport police, fire and security services.
      * Privatized airport public information services and landside management services.
